Got the SixtyFour Lowrider, it's cool

So I finally pulled the trigger and got that SixtyFour Hopping Lowrider I'd been eyeing. It's pretty sweet, honestly. Shipping took about 5 days to reach Denver, which was decent. Setup was straightforward, and it hops just like in the videos, which is awesome. The detail on it is really nice too. Overall, it was a good experience, felt like a quality purchase.

Solid value on the Blackout XTE

Thinking about the FiftyNine Lowrider vs. the Monte Carlo. Any big differences in quality or hop-up potential?

Both are great for lowriding, but the FiftyNine is a bit more 'iconic' look-wise. Parts are plentiful for both though.

Quality is pretty similar. Monte Carlo might have a slightly different feel with the suspension tuning out of the box, but you'll be upgrading hydraulics on either anyway if you get serious.

Yeah, they're not Traxxas level of indestructible for everything, but they're solid. I've sent my Everest-10 off some pretty big ramps and it's still kicking.

Are Redcat parts interchangeable with like, Traxxas or Axial parts? Or am I stuck buying only Redcat brand stuff if something breaks?

Not usually directly interchangeable with Traxxas or Axial. Some generic stuff like screws or bearings might fit, but most parts are specific to Redcat models.

You'll mostly need Redcat specific parts. The chassis and key components are usually proprietary. Some aftermarket companies make upgrades for Redcat though.

I returned a body shell once, no fuss. Just make sure you follow their process and keep the original packaging, afaik.
